He has successfully led multi-hospital digital modernization initiatives, including the implementation of Canada’s largest Hospital Information System, large-scale EHR deployments, data center modernizations, and enterprise-wide ERP/HRIS rollouts across platforms such as Meditech, Epic, Oracle Cerner, McKesson, Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Allscripts.

In Ontario, Shival has played a pivotal role in aligning clinical and operational objectives through advanced reporting, cybersecurity, and interoperability strategies. He has led AI-driven virtual triage initiatives that have significantly improved patient flow while reducing administrative burdens, such as eliminating over 20,000 weekly phone calls in Ontario hospitals.
